DON´T BE SQUARE

As always I am fascinated by patterns, and what happens when you put a pattern on top of pattern and then once more on top of another pattern.  At the moment I am especially interested in textures of different stone materials and the geometrical expressions of the German Bauhaus movement.

The Bauhaus school was founded in Germany in 1919 by architect, Walter Gropius.

Since then its teachings has had a profound influence on subsequent developments in art, architecture, graphic design, interior design, industrial design, and typography.

Basically meaning everything we see in our day to day life. I can´t help but get intrigued when things from the olden times have such a profound impact on my life.

This digital collage is me testing the waters between new trends, being the marble and stone textures, and the old Bauhaus style.
